MAX CREEPS

Max Creeps, the enigmatic, supposedly veteran, probably made-up but nonetheless fun punk band who just announced an album will be touring this summer, including stops in Chicago, Vegas, Athens, Orlando, Santa Cruz, Reno, Boise , Vancouver, Portland, Boston, DC, Houston and more. No NYC date has yet been announced.

WET LEG

Wet Leg will return to North America touring this summer and fall, and in 2023 they will support Harry Styles in Australia and New Zealand.

DRACULA

Long Island party grind band Dr. Acula recently performed reunion concerts in their hometown, but they just announced their first tour in a decade and say a new album is also on the way. .

HENRY JAMISON

Vermont songwriter Henry Jamison will hit the road with Olivia Klugman for “An Intimate Tour” in June, with stops in Seattle, Portland, Los Angeles, DC, NYC (Le Poisson Rouge 6/17), Boston and Portland, ME. The dates are in the tour poster below and are in support of his new album, This yearwhich will be released on April 29. Stream the title track:

SKA ON THE SHORE

Ska at the Shore is a mini ska festival in Atlantic City on August 7 in Bourre featuring The Pietasters, The Toasters, The Pilfers, Mephiskapheles, Backyard Superheroes, Hub City Stompers, Spring Heeled Jack and The Best of the Worst. Tickets are on sale.

ILANA GLASS

Ilana Glazer’s CU Next Tuesday series has the vast city co-creator bringing comedy to the tri-state area on Tuesdays. There are two shows at White Eagle Hall on 10/5 (tickets for the last show are still available), plus shows at Red Bank (The Vogel on 5/17), Hamden, CT (Space Ballroom on 5/17). 24), Asbury Park (House of Independents on 5/31) and Woodstock (Colony on 6/7 with early and late shows).

PRIDE ISLAND

NYC Pride’s annual concert series, Pride Island, returns for 2022 after a three-year absence due to Covid. They’ve announced this year’s lineup — which will take place at a new location, Play Lawn on Governors Island from June 24-26 — which includes Lil’ Kim, Kim Petras, Shenseea, and more.

CONVERGE, IN FLAMES OPENING FOR MESHUGGAH

Meshuggah was supposed to tour the US with Converge and Torche earlier this year, but then they had to postpone it to the fall and Converge sadly had to drop out. However, with Converge’s recent US tour (including their very first US Moon of blood shows) behind them, they were added to the Northeast/Midwest portion of the tour! In Flames was also added to the West Coast/Southwest leg.

WAVES

In 2020, Wavves was supposed to do a 10th anniversary tour of their stoner beach punk classic King of the Beach, but that couldn’t happen due to the pandemic. Now, on the opportune day of 4/20, Wavves have announced plans to play the entire album on tour again, this time on a 12th anniversary tour this summer. BOYO and Smut open.

VIAGRA BOYS / SHAME

The Swedish Viagra Boys have just announced a new album and a fall tour with Shame.

LAURA TO SEE

Laura Veirs has announced her 12th album, Light founddue July 8 via his own Raven Marching Band Records, and will be touring this summer.

LOVE JUMPING HORSE

Horse Jumper of Love has just announced their third album and new tour dates. They are also the first part of Indigo de Souza.
