The InterContinental Golf Resort and Spa, located in award-winning Natadola Bay, is poised to lead the way for events and conferences in Fiji.
This follows timely investments in audio and visual services, air conditioning, air filtration and an electrostatic spray unit for a safer, cleaner and hygienic experience for event and conference delegates.
Encore Events Technologies, the in-house service provider for audio and visual services, has completed a quarter-million dollar upgrade that is expected to positively impact the overall event experience at Natadola Bay.
Part of the upgrades include new, larger 4K projectors and drop-down screens in its meeting rooms to allow for a much larger viewing area.
This will involve upgraded 75-inch television screens, digital concierge systems for meeting facilitators and event planners, and the rewiring of event spaces for a better audio experience.
A state-of-the-art video over IP (VoIP) system was installed to broadcast the vision throughout the space.
more suitable place
Installed wireless access points allow vision routing through wearable smart devices.
The upgrades have also made Natadola Bay a more suitable venue for hybrid events that require a digital connection to multiple venues in other parts of the world at any given time.
This is complemented by the twenty-four ceiling speakers allowing even distribution of premium surround sound throughout the space.
A WiFi-controlled audio mixer has also been added to allow wireless access to each of the rooms’ audio controls.
The resort has invested in ActivePure technology which improves air filtration in the resort’s free-standing, pillar-less ballroom.
