SCOTTSBLUFF, Neb. – Western Nebraska Community College acting president John Marrin is leading a series of public listening sessions this spring. The WNCC will visit all 13 counties in its service area, which includes the Nebraska Panhandle.
The Kimball County listening session is scheduled for Wednesday, May 25 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. at The Sagebrush, Meadlowlark Room, Kimball. All interested members of the public are invited and encouraged to attend.
“We want to hear from as many people as possible,” Marrin said. “We are in the process of developing our next strategic plan which will bring together WNCC’s vision to positively impact the education and well-being of every student, employer and community member in the Panhandle.”
The session will feature a brief presentation and ample time for Q&A. Refreshments will be offered.
The final two sessions of the listening tour are in Grant County (Hyannis) on June 1 and in Cherry County. The Cherry County session has yet to be scheduled.
