BVR Hosts Negros Island’s First Beach Volleyball Tour in San Carlos – Tempo – The Nation’s Fastest Growing Newspaper

The Republic of Beach Volleyball (BVR) begins its hunt for the next stars to play in regional and national BVR on Tour tournaments through provincial qualifiers beginning with the Negros Island Beach Volleyball Tour.

The main draw will take place this weekend (July 30-31) at the Center Mall in San Carlos City, Negros Occidental.

The BVR, in partnership with the local government unit of the city of San Carlos, organized the first-ever beach volleyball tour on Negros Island.

A total of 27 teams (14 men and 13 women) from the different localities of Negros Occidental, as well as from outside the island of Negros, participated in the local qualifications held last Saturday at the same Center Mall venue.

Philip Sugaton and Peter Sugaton of Negros Occidental 1, Marvin Paulite and John Dorimon of CSA Victorias, Dennis Magtolis and John Paul Ecawalo of Himamaylan, and Aklan-Powered Recovery of Harold Closeio and Clyde Nalangan of Spicaholics reached the men’s main draw.

They will be joined by Rancel Varga and Dominique Gabito from Asian Volleybalista, Deanne Neil from Pedro and Eljhay Ronquillo from Bacolod, AJ Pareja and Henry Pecaña from Biogenic Alcohol, Jhon Cabatuan and Jeffer Guerrero from NU Boysen, James Buytrago from NU Bulldogs and Pol Salvador , San Carlos.
