Dramatic scenes rocked the Love Island villa

A dramatic recoupment at Love Island saw Hugo Hammond team up with Chloe Burrows while uttering harsh words to his former flame Toby Aromolaran.

Toby Aromolaran had been in a relationship with Chloe Burrows but dumped her after the arrival of Abigail Rawlings which sparked tension between them.

Toby saved Abigail during the recoupling, leaving Hugo with the choice between saving Chloe and new arrival Georgia Townsend.

Announcing his decision, Hugo said: “I would love to be in a relationship with this girl because not only is she gorgeous, but she’s super smart, she’s funny and every time I’m with her I’m definitely the happiest. .

“If I’m being completely honest, she doesn’t deserve to be treated the way she has been for the last 24 hours and I strongly believe that a lot of these tests are complete bulls***.

“You deserve someone who is honest and communicates with you and knows what might happen regarding things to come.”

It was then announced that Georgia, a 28-year-old marketing executive, would be leaving the program.

Georgia had tried to get along with Hugo, however, he told her he wasn’t interested before the recoupling.

Kaz Kamwi also entered her first relationship on the show during Thursday’s episode after pairing up with Tyler Cruickshank.

The couple had shared a kiss earlier in the episode.

Love Island continues on Virgin Media and ITV2 at 9 p.m.
