JKDT Chairman provides update on facilities in Kashmir – Jammu Kashmir Latest News | Tourism

SRINAGAR, 10th October: The Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Dharmarth Trust (JKDT), Advocate Ajay Gandotra visited Srinagar on a four-day tour during which he gave an update on the temple facilities.
Gandotra expressed satisfaction with the facilities and layouts of the temples run by the Trust in the Valley. He said the Trust gives due consideration to the samadhis of the late Maharajas of Jammu and Kashmir namely Maharaja Gulab Singh and Maharaja Partap Singh. He was visiting Srinagar on a special assignment from the Trust.
Accompanied by Dharmarth Trust Kashmir Additional Secretary Sandeep Khushoo, the JKDT Chairman visited Shankaracharya and Gadhadhar temples in the heart of Srinagar city and gave an update on the facilities provided to visiting devotees on the first day of his tour. He also met with the trustees of the Dharmarth Trust at Karan Mahal and briefed them on the workings of the temples and shrines under the realms of the Trust.
On the second day, he visited the Mata Kheer Bhawani temple in Tulmulla and the Shiv temple in the famous spa town of Gulmarg where he reviewed the arrangements and facilities made for visiting devotees, especially during the high tourist season. . He suggested to the temple management to further improve the facilities available at the aforementioned temples.
Today, the last day of his four-day tour, the Chairman of Dharmarth Trust visited the Shiv Temple in Pahalgam and also reviewed the facilities available. While expressing his satisfaction with the arrangements and facilities in all the temples he visited, Gandotra said that the J&K Dharmarth Trust is bound to provide the best facilities to the devotees making their stay in these temples an unforgettable spiritual experience.
