THE Love Island villa will feature a secret area that will never be shown on camera.
The show’s executive producer revealed that islanders will be able to smoke completely privately and their conversations will not be broadcast.
Speaking in a fan Q&A on Reddit today, Mike Spencer revealed, “We have an off-camera area for smokers, although I have to say most people don’t have more likely to smoke!”
ITV confirmed this week that the official start date for Love Island this year is Monday June 6.
Earlier today, we shared how the Love Island team is “working overtime” on last-minute villa surprises to make the latest series the “sexiest” yet.
A source told The Sun: “Love Island is going to be even more exciting and even hotter this year.
“The team works until the last minute to put everything in place for a show not to be missed
“He’ll be bigger, better and even sexier than before, so he’s sure to get the highest marks yet.
“Expect some interesting surprises and set your alarms because you won’t want to miss it.”
The new villa – a rustic six-bed Mallorcan retreat – looks less flashy than previous series, but still has a charm that could add to the romance on the ITV dating show.
We’ve already covered how the bosses have created the biggest gym and training facility ever in the hopes it will get the Islanders pulse racing.
And the show’s narrator, Iain Stirling, agreed that things were going to get steamy, revealing something new! Magazine: “I haven’t seen the villa. I like to wait and see him on day one and meeting the Islanders for the first time, so I’m also like a spectator seeing him for the first time.
“I know there’s a home because I talked about it in the trailer and I imagine if there’s more room to practice it’s going to be the sexiest show we’ve ever had. ever had.”
