Mandira Bedi is heartbroken after the unfortunate death of her husband Raj Kaushal. The 49-year-old filmmaker died on Wednesday June 30 in the early morning following a cardiac arrest. He is survived by his wife Mandira Bedi and his children Veer and Tara.

In March this year, actress Mandira Bedi had set up her lavish island home in Madh named Bougainvilla, on Airbnb. The villa facing the sea has a swimming pool, 4 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms. The accommodation cost per night is said to be around Rs 42,000. Mandira was among the second Bollywood celebrity to offer her vacation home for rent. The first of them was Shah Rukh Khan who built his house in Delhi with his wife Gauri Khan for Airbnb.

Now, according to Bollywood Life’s latest report, Mandira and late filmmaker, Raj Kaushal’s villa is now up for rent. Mandira and her mother had invested in this beach house about 15 years ago and turned it into a shooting bungalow, located in Alibaug. Apparently Mandira had worked hard to get the whole place redone before letting him out. A Condenast Traveler article, back in 2019, said the actress is redoing the place from scratch. It is a four bedroom house with a swimming pool.

Here is a throwback video of Mandira Bedi taking a virtual tour of her vacation home:

Earlier in an interview with Indian Express Mandira had shared, “This four bedroom beach bungalow is the perfect destination for a traveler looking for the perfect beachside getaway. I focused on creating a space where a traveler just has to show up with a suitcase of clothes. All their other needs and amenities will be taken care of while staying at Bougainvilla.”
