Nearly a thousand cyclists at the start of the Tour de Bintan 2022

The event organizers claimed that there are 946 cyclists from 45 countries who have registered for the Tour de Bintan event to be held from October 14-16, 2022. Most of the participants are from Singapore (40%) , followed by the United Kingdom. (13%), Australia (7%), Indonesia (5%) and Malaysia (4%). Next come America, Japan, Germany, France around 3%, the Philippines, Hong Kong around 2% and other countries around 16%.

The cycling race will start from the Simpang Lagoi area. The length of the course varies according to the category in which the participant registers.

The Tour de Bintan categories consist of Time Trial with a length of 175 kilometres, Grand Fondo Challenge (85 kilometres), Grand Fondo Classic (146 kilometres), Grand Fondo Century (108 kilometres) and Grand Fondo Discovery (55 kilometres). kilometers).
