Island villa

Ronan Keating’s son entered the “Love Island” villa

If there is one thing the island of love do better, it starts the drama. The iconic series has officially hit that fan-favorite moment when the original boys and girls split up for Casa Amor. What exactly does this mean? Basically, six hot new boys and six hot new girls enter the villa in an attempt to tempt the OGs out of their partners. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t, but one thing he always manages to do is increase the tension.

This year, Jack, one of the bombs, rather dropped a big bombshell by revealing that his father is none other than Ronan Keating, the iconic Irish singer best known for his passage in Boyzone. When he wrote Life is a rollercoasterthis may be the exact moment he was referring to, as his son is about to shake things up in a big way.

“I’m not going to lie, I was nervous as hell. When I saw him enter the villa, my heart was pounding out of my chest,” Ronan said. Mail online.

Despite his nerves, the proud dad says he’s ‘excited for his son’ and ‘will always support him’. We assume that means he will vote or ten to keep his son in the competition.

A promotional video shows Jack getting close to Gemma Owen, another contestant who also has a very famous father (unbeknownst to everyone). Former England footballer Michael Owens has apparently been tuning in to the show, eagerly waiting to see what his precious daughter is up to.

Gemma has happily been in a relationship with Luca Bish for several weeks now, but her last chat with Jack inside Casa Amor has viewers wondering if the pair might be a better fit. Unlike Gemma, however, Jack seems less interested in keeping his famous father’s identity a secret, revealing in his intro clip:

“My dad is a singer, Ronan Keating. He’ll be watching when I’m on it for sure. He buzzes for me, my dad and I are very close, we’re best friends.”

The 23-year-old revealed the news to Gemma, 19, who seemed a little taken aback but still didn’t feel like offering her own father the tea.

“My dad is a singer. Do you know Ronan Keating? He’s the old man,” he told her, before revealing that his mum and sister love show jumping, a sport Gemma participates in at an international level.

We’re interested to see where the two go from here, but knowing Gemma and Luca’s close bond, it’s unlikely his head will be turned.

Unfortunately for the Casa Amor bombs, their reception was downright frosty. One commenter dubbed them “Casa A-Mid,” digging into their apparent mid-level appearance.

Another wrote: ‘Not a single head was turned this night I’m afraid’ which got 17,000 likes – ouch.

“Nahh you all raped the ladies with this selection 😭,” added another.

The Casa Amor girls, meanwhile, received a much warmer reception, with one user writing: ‘All the girls are stunning!!! 😍❤️❤️’

Only time will tell if Jack Keating has what it takes to turn heads at Casa Amor. We’re sure he’ll love every day like it’s his last, dancing the night away and having fun anyway.
