A tearful Hugo Hammond was forced to apologize to his compatriotcandidates after sparking a heated argument in the villa.
The 24-year-old physical education teacher has angered a number of islanders after revealing his biggest disappointment was the “fake” personalities and appearances.
Civil servant Sharon Gaffka, 25, and rentals manager Faye Winter, 26, who both said they had cosmetic procedures, criticized him for his remark.
Sharon said: “That’s such an unfair comment.”
Hugo told them he “didn’t mean anything malicious.”
Faye and Sharon later accepted his apology, vowing to put the incident behind them.
After the heated exchange, Aaron Francis expressed doubts about his romance with Sharon, as he criticized her strongly worded response to the incident.
Tuesday’s episode also saw Millie Court and Lucinda Strafford enter the villa.
The couple arrived after the women had been out and were treated to brunch. They sent a selfie of their meal, before the boys responded with their own photo which included the two new “bombshell” islanders.
After they arrived, Hugo said, “They’re both absolutely gorgeous – I’m speechless.”
During Tuesday’s episode of the ITV2 dating show, Liberty Poole and Jake Cornish also discussed their relationship.
Jake told Liberty he thinks “what we have is good.”
She replied, “I know, knowing you, you would handle things with respect.”
Jake said, “Of course, of course. What’s meant to be is meant to be. I’ll come and tell you, I’m a respectful person.”
Later, in the privacy of the beach shack, he added, “It’s huge to be honest here, you have to be open. Right now all my attention is with Liberty.”
