Thaba Moshate improves school facilities

Thaba Moshate Hotel Casino and Convention Resort values the education and well-being of locals. The casino has again invested in one of the local schools. As part of their CSI projects, Thaba Moshate renovated the bathrooms, showers and toilets at Rehlahleng Special School. Casino management officially handed over the upgraded facilities on April 28.

“We previously had other projects in this school. This recent project allows children to enjoy improved flush toilets and bathrooms by Thaba Moshate. “We will continue to work closely with Rehlahleng to ensure that disabled and needy children are well taken care of. “It was a special moment to see the students’ faces light up after seeing the improvements,” said casino marketing manager Karabo Tjie.

The pupils of the special school of Rehlahleng were delighted.

“We are proud to be part of the school principal, Nomonde Bembe, thanked Thaba Moshate for always helping when they are in need. “All it took was one phone call to convince them to help us. We are relieved that the project is complete and our children can enjoy the luxury and comfort of using beautiful bathrooms and toilets. We will surely take good care of them and ensure that these facilities last for more years.

“We thank the management of Thaba Mushate for investing in education.” Showing their appreciation, Rehlahleng students participated in extramural activities and sang and chanted to visitors. The day’s activities ended with the management of Thaba Moshate sharing a meal with the educators, school management team and students. Rehlahleng is one of the few boarding schools in Tubatse to accommodate students with disabilities. The school is located at Ga-Mampuru in Steelpoort.
