Four Love Island contestants were evicted from the villa after the public voted for the most compatible couples.

During the Sunday evening broadcast, the islanders discovered that the public had voted and that the two couples with the fewest votes would leave the villa immediately.

The episode of the hit ITV2 dating show saw the islanders surprised after Lacey Edwards and Deji Adeniyi, and Nathalia Campos and Reece Ford were suddenly dropped from the island.

Adam Collard received a text message asking islanders to gather at the foyer, before the results of the vote were revealed.

The safe couples were announced one by one, until three remained. Danica Taylor and Jamie Allen narrowly avoided a departure and were the last couple to be saved.

Elsewhere in the episode, the couple’s relationship blossomed after spending their first night sharing a bed together.

Danica told the islanders, “I’m really happy with my decision.”

Later in the beach hut, she added, “Honestly, I’m so happy. I don’t want to be so nuts and grumpy… But I’m just very happy, ridiculously smiling, giggling and just looking forward to seeing what the next few days have in store for us as a couple now. ”

Longtime couple Tasha Ghouri and Andrew Le Page, who have been together since the start of the series, discussed their plans for the future, with Tasha asking her partner: “What would you do if I wore a wedding dress black ?” to which Andrew replied, “I think you would look unreal.”

The couple then discussed flower arrangements and proposal deadlines, with Andrew saying: “Well baby, carry on, you’re at least four years old.”

Tasha replied, “I’m pretty sure you would sooner than that.”

Andrew then smiled and asked his partner, “Do you think I’d propose to you before three years?”

Tasha said yes and added, “If we continue as we are, yes, I think so.”

Things were also getting serious for Davide Sanclimenti and Ekin-Su Culculoglu, after Davide made a classic Italian tiramisu for his partner before asking her if she wanted to be “exclusive” with him.

Ekin-Su shared her joy at the gesture at the beach hut, where she said, “I really didn’t expect this from Davide. I am absolutely shocked, at a loss for words.

“I feel so happy. I feel like the luckiest girl on the planet and I’m so grateful for my journey with him.

Love Island continues on ITV2 and ITV Hub.
